Hi, Filipino citizens are mandated by law to pay the right taxes. More so if you are a foreign citizen.Since your income tax is a percentage of your salary or income, therefore, you must declare the proper income with the Immigration and the DOLE.
If you declare a very low salary, government authorities might become suspicious. After all, why would a foreigner come all the way to the Philippines to receive only a Filipino's minimum salary?!
The practical consequence of that, is you might be investigated by the Immigration. And you do not want that..
