1. Bedsit 雅房
£195 pw = £195 per week 每週租金195磅
cozy bedsit presented in a charming period building 復古建物溫馨雅房
如果租屋網站上出現「cozy」，雖然代表著「溫馨」沒錯，同時也暗示著空間不大；而「period」在這裡意思則是「舊的」，也就是該建物應該頗有年歲。
open-plan fully fitted kitchen 自帶設備齊全的廚房
「open-planned」意思就是「沒有牆壁的」，也就是「設在房間內的」；而「fully-fitted」意思是「設備齊全的」，也就是說廚房裡應該要有的設備，包括水壺、微波爐等等都會在這個廚房中。
shared bathroom 共用衛浴
selected sky channels 電視頻道有限
「sky channels」這裡指的是「電視頻道」，當你看到「selected sky channels」時，意思就是說電視上不會帶有全部的頻道，由房東決定房客的電視上會有哪些頻道可以收看。
rent includes (bills) 租金已包含水電費用

2. Double room 分租套房
£149 pw = £149 per week 每週租金149磅
eat in kitchen 可以用餐的廚房
「eat in」在租屋說明上，意思就是「附帶桌椅的」。
all bills included 租金涵蓋所有費用
numerous windows throughout making it full of natural light 採光極好
You must be an easy-going person, and sociable. 你必須是個隨和而且喜歡交朋友的人
pretty / quite / a bit flexible contract 合約彈性
如果你在租屋說明上看到這點，代表房東對於合約期限是彈性的，也許你簽了一年的合約，但你不一定要住滿一年才能離開，也許可以提早幾週離開。

4. The viewing 看房時說什麼好呢？
Small talk 隨性聊聊
隨性聊聊的內容可以包含天氣、交通等等，這不只可以用在看房的時候，如果你今天要跟一個首次見面的人聊天，也可以這樣暖場。
Rules: Am I allowed to …? 我可以…嗎？
如果你要詢問相關的住房規定，就可以用這個句型。
Do I have to share the bathroom with anyone? 我需要跟誰一起共用衛浴設備呢？
How much notice do I have to give you if I want to leave? 如果我不住了，大概多久前要通知你？
