员工自己辞职，需要给他backpay吗？

我一位员工工作了18个月，现在辞职了，按照法律，需要给他backpay吗？

虽然我不是律师，但是这个其实应该也常识吧。只有非员工问题被公司辞退，公司才需要给。

给点吧，工人也比较不会动脑筋

No need for separation pay if the employee is the one resigning. However, you must have proof that the resignation was voluntary. Better if there is a witness from the labor department.

如果员工是决定辞职的一方，公司不需要给他退职津贴。但是，你必须有证据证明这位员工他是自愿离职的。最好就是有劳工部门的人能做个见证。

But I decided to give him separation fee, cause he's doing good job in my company.
