Hi, you may take reference on the following pointers -
a. Verify with the Admin on the identity of the owner of the property you wish to rent. Make sure you are dealing with the owner or the owner's true representative.
b. Request from the representative a copy of the owner's valid ID in order to compare with the signature of his/ her SPA and signature on the lease contract.
c. If possible, request for a move- in permit from the owner himself, not from the agent.
d. If the owner of the unit refused to meet you in person, request for a video conference call.
e. Record the call. |
